Al-Aqsa Club Receives a Delegation from Khadamat Al-Nuseirat Club at its Headquarters

Al-Aqsa Club recently hosted a delegation from Khadamat Al-Nuseirat Club, comprising members of its Board of Directors, sports cadres, and football department officials.

The visiting delegation was received by Mr. Mohammed Al-Tawil, Vice President of Al-Aqsa Club, along with members of the Board of Directors, football department officials, and the club's sports staff. This visit reflects the deep-rooted relationship between the two historic clubs located in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp.

The meeting comes at a critical and challenging time for Palestinian sports, particularly for football and its respective teams. Both parties discussed strategies for sports recovery and advancement, focusing on the rehabilitation and revitalization of the athletic teams in both clubs. Representatives from both sides emphasized the strong fraternal ties between Al-Aqsa Club and Khadamat Al-Nuseirat Club, reaffirming their commitment to enhancing mutual cooperation.

During the meeting, Mr. Abu Rawhat welcomed the visiting delegation and praised Khadamat Al-Nuseirat Club’s role in the preceding period, highlighting its unwavering support for our people using all available resources. He affirmed that Khadamat Al-Nuseirat is a prominent and highly respected institution, noting that Al-Aqsa Club's doors remain open and fully prepared to provide any necessary support to its sister club. Furthermore, Mr. Abu Rawhat addressed the ongoing recovery phase at the historic Al-Aqsa Club, specifically within the football department. He announced the formation of a dedicated football committee, which has been equipped with the necessary resources to immediately commence extensive work with both the first and youth teams to rebuild them with exceptional technical and athletic proficiency.

In turn, Mr. Abdulkarim Abu Saif of Khadamat Al-Nuseirat Club expressed his gratitude to Al-Aqsa Club for its outstanding role in supporting our people throughout the war and up to the present day. Mr. Abu Saif stressed that coordination and partnership in the upcoming phase are vital to elevating the teams of both clubs and successfully navigating the sports recovery process.

Attendees from both clubs exchanged ideas aimed at developing and serving the best interests of the local sports sector. A key proposal involved establishing a joint committee to secure a football field. This committee would collaborate with the Al-Nuseirat Municipality and the Egyptian Committee to find an alternative to the municipal stadium—which is currently serving as a shelter for displaced persons—and work towards rehabilitating the stadium to ultimately restore its former football and athletic activities.

The participants pledged to hold further meetings in the near future to follow up on the initiatives discussed during this session. In conclusion, the Khadamat Al-Nuseirat delegation extended their sincere thanks to Al-Aqsa Club for the warm reception and generous hospitality.
